New post
Hello Coffee lovers,
First things first, welcome to blog post #1!
As well as informing you of a delicious new coffee blend we also wanted to tell you a little about the life of coffee growers Paola and Carlos and why their story is so special.
It is 5 am. Paola and Carlos have already had a cold shower and breakfast even before the “cock-a-doodle-doo” crowing of roosters symbolizing the break of dawn.
Putting on their rubber boots to go to work they mutter “Al que madruga, Dios le ayuda” -an old saying which means that “God helps those who get up early”. Their land is their everything and therefore, their coffee is their ultimate purpose. Their coffee plantation is their escape route giving them the chance to farm legally for a good living. Surrounding their land are sadly many illegal group activities amongst the indigenous communities and small farmers.

Paola and Carlos are meticulous about everything they do on their farm. They know that precision transcends into the quality of the coffee and therefore, in the sales.
Walking amongst the coffee fields, breathing the fresh air just before starting to hand-pick the “cherries” that are at the perfect point of ripeness, is what they know as the “path of gratitude”. It is the daily reminder of a correct life decision.
Today, we are delighted to announce this delicious coffee arrival that we encourage you to try. It is a blend of three different coffee varieties ‘Caturra, Colombia and Castillo’. The coffee beans have been washed and dried in the sun between 1600 and 2200 meters above sea level in Inza, Colombia.
Taking advantage of the natural sweetness of this coffee blend, we have developed a special roasting curve for espresso. This means a very balanced coffee in the cup with notes of chocolate, caramel, vanilla, and a light floral touch. This blend can also be used in Bialetti and automatic machines.
